Elisha is a cleric with no castle and a very long rest

Quest voice: mantle as class item, Jordan as terrain, bones as a legendary leftover.

Editorial reading note from the Backlinker Reader Desk. This is not an Amazon customer review. Personas are composite Kindle-reader voices, not real purchasers, and nothing here is a verified purchase, star rating, or endorsement for Amazon.

Jehu was the smash paladin. The Mantle is the cleric campaign that never unlocks a keep. Class item: cloth. Feature: double portion. Terrain: Jordan. Side quests that are the campaign: widow oil, Shunem room, child, Naaman’s river, fire-horses on a hill, tears over Hazael, send a minion with a flask, die, bones still cast. That last one is a legendary that fires after the PC is gone.

Joash striking thrice is a limited victory — the table is not allowed to farm the rest of the arrows. Elisha does not run the Jehu dungeon. Different module, same world. Book Thirteen. Final Unsung. Not YA. Not loot-for-fun. Wonders among the poor are the play.

Steal / don’t steal

Steal: the mantle handoff, the hill of fire-horses, the grave that still works. Do not steal a throne for him. Do not make the bones a joke revive.

Editorial. Sample if the table wants a cleric without a castle. The Mantle earned a slot. The series is allowed to end.

After the last page

Discord warning: cleric, no castle, wonders among the poor, bones still cast. If that is the session, sample The Mantle. If a smash was wanted, that was Jehu. Different module. Series allowed to end. Editorial. Not a customer stamp. Book Thirteen earned the last slot. This desk read stays in the editorial lane: composite voice, no verified-purchase pantomime, no star theater. The volume is a Bindery title on the public shelf. Open the Amazon sample if the set pieces named above are the test. Do not treat this page as a customer review. The regulars are voices, not till receipts. Unsung continuity is the point of the note — function, stamp, leftover object — not a ranking promise. The Mantle remains Book Thirteen of The Unsung: plow, cloth, river, bones. This desk names those objects so the series close cannot hide behind another smash. Cleric, no keep. Series allowed to stop.

Book Thirteen closes Unsung on bones, not a sequel hook, and this desk is recording that close so nobody has to pretend a fourteenth smash is required. That is the note.
